Originally a “B Package” Automatic or “Popular Equipment” Automatic model (A/C, Power Steering, Power Mirrors, Power Windows, Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel, Headrest Speakers, Cruise Control, Power Antenna, Power Door Locks, 14×6 7-spoke Alloy Wheels)
Has since been swapped to a 5-Speed Manual Gearbox with a 4.10 Limited-Slip Differential. Still retains power steering, headrest speakers, power windows, and air conditioning. The power antenna has been removed and replaced by a non-retractable silver tall boi. The power door locks also remain, but no longer function. The power mirrors are still available and functional, however they are not currently installed as I am running Runabout M2 mirrors instead.

GIVEN NAME: Casper / Caspy
In April of 2017, I crashed Casper. It was a front end corner collision into the side of a mountain. It required the replacement of the front passenger fender, front bumper, passenger side lower control arm, and passenger side sway bar end link. My tire went flat but it had just come off the bead and was able to be repaired by merely reinflating it. The wheel was not bent (thankfully) nor out of round. I also replaced my suspension shortly afterward. The hood was not affected enough to replace but I later replaced the hood hinges so it would line up better. In 2020 I had his front radiator support pulled to near proper alignment. In summer of 2021, I and a small group of friends (Miata’s N Things crew) painted Casper his current color of Ceramic Metallic 47A.
In July 2024, at 178166 miles on the cluster, I pulled Casper’s trusty old BP05 and swapped it out for a BP4W that I refreshed and slapped a Toda high lift cam into. After a handful of hiccups, I finally got him back out on the road. I parked him in February 2024 for a bad clutch and loss of clutch pressure, thinking his pressure plate was toast and already aware the disc was slipping. Turns out it was just the clutch master cylinder, but I decided to go all in with a new motor and a full OEM refresh. The BP4W that I purchased only had 134k miles on it. As of August 2024, he is fully driveable again (albeit a bad battery). Even the A/C still works.
