Back in the day before chipped keys and push to start buttons, bling keys were kind of a thing. A company called Royal Clover developed keys for Japanese car manufacturers like Mazda and Nissan.

Please get your key professionally cut! It is your responsibility to get your key specifically cut to fit your own vehicle. If your car still has the original ignition cylinder, I recommend getting your key vin cut by a dealership or a professional locksmith.

Royal Clover keys aren’t created for a specific model of vehicle but more for a year set of vehicles by a specific manufacturer. M327 keys are made for certain Mazda models from 1981 to 1993, including the 323/Protege, 626, RX-7, and more. The M327 has also been proven to fit non-chip key Miatas (NA6, NA8, some NB1) but will need to be cut by a professional as it is slightly shorter than a hardware store spare key.
