Description

The “tenken seibi” sticker but pushtostart style! These stickers are found on most Japanese vehicles for required inspections.

The large colored number represents a year in the Japanese calendar, which doesn’t translate directly to the calendar as we might know it. In this case, the 29 translates to 2017. The smaller numbers in a ring represent the month of the year (i.e. 1 = January, 2 = February, etc). The 10 stands for October. This particular sticker represents the date that Pushtostart was officially founded, in October of 2017!

The upper Japanese text reads “inspection maintenance paid”, which is a direct pull from the real stickers. But the bottom translates to “push to start, est., motivation to begin”!
